THE TEARS OF A BABY-MAMA - Episode 6

I slept off singing only to wake up about 2am to discover that NEPA has restored power. But naija sef with light Wahala. Its just too much. I tried to sleep again but couldn't. I picked up my fone to browse just to forget about her story but how could I forget someone like her? It wasn't easy.

The moment I went on Facebook I saw her status updated with the following words.." FIGHTING ALL ALONE...TRUE FRIENDS ARE RARE".
Immediately I knew it was because of me. I sent her a blank SMS and she quickly replied and asked why. I said, its blank because I'm short of words.

In the morning at about 10am I went to her house to see her. I got there and found her crying. I told her to wipe her tears because I'm ready to listen to her. She tried to smile but her eyes were swollen.

"Oya,gist me what happen joor",I said jokingly. She requested to take her bath first. While she went into the bathroom Daniel Bedingfield  " IF YOU'RE NOT THE ONE" hit me hard and I didn't know when I sang it out...

"If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today?
If you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way?
If you are not mine then why does your heart return my call
If you are not mine would I have the strength to stand at all
I'll never know what the future brings
But I know you're here with me now
We’ll make it through
And I hope you are the one I share my life with

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am?
Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?"

I was still singing with my eyes closed and didn't realise she was done bathing and here she's standing in front of me. She held my hands and with tears in her eyes she sang my favourite song in those days by TOSIN MARTINS, "OLOMI"..

" Olo mi, oni temi
Ore mi, ololufe
Oju kan o, sa lada ni
Lola Oluwa
Ko sohun ti o ya wa"

" I beg,I beg,I beg, stop and gist me", I said to her because I know wetin dey my mind. I really want to know how the thing happen.
And she began..I went to visit James. He served me a glass of juice....

THE TEARS OF A BABY-MAMA - Episode 5

I felt I'm the man for her. And she's the woman for me. After the song,I went to take a shower. Right inside the bathroom i was thinking. How could she say she didn't know how she became pregnant? Who is responsible na? But Funke doesn't open her "London" any how like Ekaette na. At 29 she suppose to know who visited that department of her ministry. Suddenly i remember what a friend once told me that I'm wasting my time with Funke. That she will end up with another man. At that moment "YORI YORI" by Bracket came to my mine....
" Same thing, same thing wey dey make me feel like say you go be my wife Na the same thing wey been dey make others dey say I dey waste my time Na because I dey respect you girl, spending for you every night and day I dey pray for you, because of you I dey fly like butterfly, my love my love Chorus Ma love love, with you everything is well well Your love dey make my heart do yori yori Nobody can love you the way I do Am with you ma love love" I love her so much but now she is pregnant for someone else without knowing how. Is she another "Mary" in the Bible? Na wa oh! This matter don weaken my liver. "Where can i find a magistrate to illustrate or demonstrate how much I don dey frustrate? Who orchestrate and administrate this her pregnancy? I must castrate him because I no fit concentrate...I even try to prostrate to pray but I ended up laying straight like slate on the floor because I come dey depreciate. Right on the floor, instead of praying I was singing Michael Bolton's "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU" "I could hardly believe it When I heard the news today I had to come and get it straight from you They said you were leavin' Someone's swept your heart away From the look upon your face, I see it's true So tell me all about it, tell me 'bout the plans you're makin' Then tell me one thing more before I go [Chorus:] Tell me how am I supposed to live without you Now that I've been lovin' you so long How am I supposed to live without you How am I supposed to carry on When all that I've been livin' for is gone"

THE TEARS OF A BABY-MAMA - Episode 4

THE TEARS OF A BABY MAMA -Episode 4

I looked into her eyes filled with tears. Mine were as red as a new red wine inside a glass cup. I just didn't know what to say to her after singing "SWEAR IT AGAIN" by West life. All I told her was I needed some time alone."Please, can you leave my House?',she was shocked."Bonny, please don't do this to me". "No,I'm not. I just need some time alone to think and assimilate a few things". She got up after I promised to give her a call the next day. But as she headed for the door,"GOODBYE" by Celine Dion burst out from my mouth...

"Mamma You gave life to me Turned a baby into a lady Mamma All you had to offer Was the promise of a lifetime of love Now I know There is no other Love like a mother's love for her child And I know A love so complete Someday must leave Must say goodbye Goodbye's the saddest word I'll ever hear Goodbye's the last time I will hold you near Someday you'll say that word and I will cry It'll break my heart to hear you say goodbye" That night I couldn't sleep. A lot of thoughts racing through my mind. Here is my crush..a girl I wish was mine...one i desire so much more than warm sharwama and chilled yoghurt.. A girl I have spent thousands of hours imagining how I'm going to visit her "London, with or without a valid visa". I truly love Funke but she is so used to me and don't feel we should be lovers. We have known for 19yrs. I missed my dinner because of thinking. Series of songs came to my mind to calm me down but I ended up crying when I saw her pictures on social media. All I could do was burst out in tears again with "READY", sang by Adekunle Gold... "E bami wòmo o emi naa fe love o mofé love o I want to love o Am single and searching I want to date o mo ti ready o o I need a girl oh Wan ni kin shi Instagram pe ma romo tó shan mo n bawòn soro them no follow me back o Bella naija e calm down you dey make me jealous na so so pictures me sef dey find love o There is a man for every woman a woman for every man sebi naso naso dem talk e o nibo ni temí wa o".

FAMILY OF UNILAG STUDENT ELECTROCUTED OUTSIDE HER HOSTEL YET TO RECEIVE THE N45M COMPENSATION FROM PHCN

 oluchi
The family of Oluchi Anekwe, a 300-level student of Accounting in the University of Lagos, who was electrocuted by a live wire on the school premises, has been paid N45m as compensation.

In September 2015 Oluchi, a first class student of UNILAG, was electrocuted at about 7pm, while returning from an evening mass with her younger sister.A source who spoke to , Punch Metro said that the money was paid after the Eko Electricity Distribution Company reached a non-disclosure agreement with the victim’s family.

Oluchi had reportedly entered the Eni Njoku Hall to buy an item and was walking out of the hostel when a high-tension wire fell on her. The remains of the Igbo-Etiti, Enugu State indigene, were buried shortly after. The Federal Government also set up a panel to investigate the death.
A Lagos-based human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, reportedly took up the case and wrote EKEDC, asking that the firm compensate the family or risk litigation.
After series of meetings, the power firm buckled and settled with the family.
A source said:
“They agreed and paid N45m in a non-disclosure agreement. This means the agreement is not to be disclosed to the public. It is supposed to be a private arrangement between the company and the girl’s family.
“The reasoning is that if it is publicized, it could encourage people who have similar grievances to insist on monetary settlements. That might not augur well for the company. The victim’s younger sister has also been flown abroad for treatment for the injuries she sustained in the incident.”
When contacted, Oluchi’s father, Chief Basil Anekwe, refused to confirm if any money was paid to his family, saying instead that the victim’s younger sister was abandoned in an American hospital.
He said, “Which money are you talking about? Where did you get the information? Well, I don’t have an idea of what you are talking about; I am in Enugu right now.”
Probed further if the family had received any payment, he said: “Do not ask me because I do not know you. You cannot hear anything from me. Go and confirm from the person that gave you the information. Write that I said I have nothing to say about it. I stopped the negotiation process because my daughter was abandoned in an American hospital and I had to go and get her.”

THE TEARS OF A BABY-MAMA EPISODE 3

Well, back to James visit. It came and gone but with a lot happening. I was so interested with details of his visit. All she told me was that yea,he's nice..they just sat watching movies together. He likes so much "30Days in Atlanta" by AY. In my heart I was waiting for the main segment (Who cares about Buhari's visit to China as long as he didn't mistakenly dance "shooki" there. Because 'shooki' na dancè for nàija but na fight for China). All I wanted hearing was 'we did this or that', but she said noting happened just a hug. Just a hug?

Mine oh mine,if I can only get a hug from Funke,I will be made whole like the woman with the 'issue of blood. Mere looking at her full package, with beautiful size 38 of well ripe water melon..blood of zechariah. She's the type of girl you marry and you don't need any pain killer to ease you of one. All you need is for her to rest on you and like magic, pain will disappear.

Weeks past and her friendship with James blossomed until the day she cried to my house. She felt so uncomfortable. 'What happened?", I asked her but she kept on crying. After a while she said she can't explain how it happened. 'What happened',I asked her. 'Is it your job?". 'Stop scaring me' I said with fear "Bonnyhills,I am pregnant' She said. All I remembered then was that I burst out in tears but with part of PSquare song "Omoge mi",...that has to do with the issue... "No [x2]YeahGirl why yeah yeahOmoge miAti padi miHe eh [x2]Oremi ehGirl why yeah yeah(Bridge 1)I told her not to cryThat everything will be alrightBut now I wonder whyIt has to be this guyThis na my only best friend[Chorus:]If na you, tell me wetin you go do your girl friendOmoge ti mo feranTi emi feran, ti emi fe riOmoge mi ati padi miWon ti semi nkan ti o daWetin you go do your best friend? This na padi mi, oremi eyi e ehGirl why yeah yeah" 'How manage Funke?' I asked. 'Bonny,I'm so confused'...she said. I just can't explàin it. She cried on and sobbed. I know you will hate me and drive me away from you. But please just believe me Bonny,I didn't do it". At that point i pulled her close to my chest, still in tears WestLife song titled "Swear it Again", flashed through my mind...and i sang on... "I wanna knowWho ever told you I was letting goOf the only joy that I have ever knownGirl, they were lying.Just look around,And all of the people that we used to knowHave just given up, they wanna let it goBut we're still trying.(chorus)I'm never gonna say goodbyeCos I never wanna see you cryI swore to you my love would remainAnd I swear it all over again and II'm never gonna treat you badCos I never wanna see you sadI swore to share your joy and your painAnd I swear it all over again

THE TEARS OF A BABY MAMÀ EPISODE 2

THE TEARS OF A BABY MAMÀ EPISODE 2
One day,James called to say he was going to pay her a visit. Wow,she was so excited.Having a friend like James pay her a visit after almost 2 months of daily constant communication means more to her than naija fuel scarcity. She told him she would make his first visit the best ever. Now this is a girl who desired to be in love with this guy but this guy is yet to say a word in that direction.
Each time she raised up James issue while with me, she complained why he just won't defined their friendship. I get bitter inside of me because e come dey be like say me sef no arrange my side. Because of her I began to sing more Yoruba songs since alot of Yoruba girls likes guys with such swag. So each time i see her,Adekunle Gold song titled "SADE",never left my mouth. I sang... "Oh oh oh… Uhhmm Sade… Oya now Otipe ti’n mo ti’n ba re soro Otipe ti’n mo ti’n toast e Sade…. Ojo n’lo Ose to lo ni o pa thirty Sade I dey beg say make you marry You tell me say you no ready o O de jo Omoge dakun gbo temi Jowo ma je kin lo commit o I love you die I need you die Baby mi jowo Please come be my wife" Whenever I start singing she turns to me and said Bonnyhils, what I feel for you is the love of Christ. Nothing more. I just won't stop singing. The more she talks about the love of Christ the more I get more inspirations to sing on... "Je’n gbe lole Mummy mi reti omo Marry me o baby Baba mi reti omo You know I love you Omoge wa femi" Funke, often feel the vibes each time my madness for singing shows up. She wondered why I chose the art of comedy & emcee and not singing especially when I sing with such passion. I know exactly the part that moves her most in SADE... "I say I need you girl You say you need sometime But time hin no dey girl Answer me on time I dey beg you say make you follow me You tell say you no love me O de jo Omoge dakun se temi Jowo ma je kin lo commit o I love you die I need you die Baby mi jowo Jowo Please come be my wife" And when I begin this lines!she go run leave me. (hahaha)

THE TEARS OF A BABY-MAMA EPISODE 1.

At first when Funke told me she was bored and needed something to keep her busy,I was surprised because this was same girl back at school that would go often. But all of a sudden after our university days,it seems like she changed. Yes of course she did when she met with Paul. Whom she later introduced to me.

Paul was the head usher in their church. Very vibrant, committed and always on ground. A lot of people liked him because of his polite nature of addressing issues especially when it has to do with members sitting arrangement. Funke,a girl that only began the church just less than two month decided to join a service unit and the ushering department was one that she liked since she told me back then about her love for purple colour being one of the uniforms they use more often.

At first when James called the first time, Funke wasn't expecting his call as she never knew who was calling. She only found out that it was him during their conversation. He had gotten her number from their unit register. A normal conversation. He asked her about her faith, work, family, etc...and dropped after a while. But that was the beginning of series of calls.

Funke was so happy that at least a very responsible guy in church would care so much about her well being. She just couldn't keep the gist back from me her padi. Every opportunity she has,she must make a statement about her James. From calls,James invited her one day for a friend's birthday. She jumped at the opportunity and was elated to be part of an elite group of bankers.

The party went well and she couldn't just wait to see me and gist about all that happened there. This her excitement no be here o. It got so good abi na worst that its either she's on fone with James or she's sending SMS or chatting with him. Omoh,me come dey wan jealous her sef because the girl I dey date don  misbehave follow another guy and I need to be in something serious.

BARBARIC! Thief Burnt Alive in Abuja as People Gathers to Look, Including Children

This incident took place in Mararaba in Abuja, according to twitter user @SandraSandygold,  the person burnt alive was among three thieves that stole a generating set and television this morning from the neighborhood.

Before escaping after the theft, some of the residents raised alarm and chased after the thieves, two escaped while the unfortunate one that was caught, was burnt alive as people gathered to look, including children.

How people have the mind to roast a fellow human being alive is a shock, regardless of whatever the crime was, such cases should be handed to police and not jungle justice like this.

Tell me, who is going to dispose the burnt body... See another graphic photo below...

Photos: Meet the woman who can't stop having orgasms

30 year-old American, Cara Anaya, can have as many as 180 orgasms in two hours; she has been diagnosed with Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder, which means she has to endure constant arousal for up to six hours a day.

The incurable disorder started 3 years ago for the mother-of-one. She said she went shopping one day and walking through the store, she suddenly found herself aroused by everything in sight, smells in the air and everything she touched. Confused, she began to panic, but the arousal continued until she fell to the floor and had multiple orgasms.
Cara says she now avoids being in public or remaining in open spaces and had to leave her job as a waitress. She said she can have spontaneous embarrassing orgasms in the supermarket, on a school run – and even in the playground. Cara said;
"It is embarrassing and confusing and humiliating. When you are around children you feel like a pervert because you have all these really strong feelings rushing through your body at the same time. It has devastated my involvement in my son’s life because I feel too dirty to be a part of it. It will build and build and build inside me and it’s overwhelming. It makes me giggle because of the momentary high, and outwardly I look okay, but inwardly it’s a torture.’
She's married to Tony Carlisi (pictured), who says he's fed up with the situation and hurts that his wife is going through something like this. Watch her have an orgasm in the video below...

Gov Rotimi Amaechi insults Nollywood practitioners to their faces, says they are products of circumstances

This would have been funny if it wasn't pathetic. According to a few Nollywood practitioners who were present at the Best of Nollywood Awards, which held last night in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, the governor of the state Rotimi Amaechi practically insulted Nollywood practitioners to their faces.

According to a source who reached out to LIB, during his speech at the award after he gave veteran actress Liz Benson a Lifetime Achievement Award, Governor Rotimi said that people in Nollywood are products of circumstances/necessity. He said that the only reason they are in Nollywood is because they couldn't find other jobs, that if they had, they won't be actors. Rotimi said these actors studied sciences, law, medicine etc but because they couldn't find jobs, they embraced Nollywood.

Present when he said this were Nollywood veterans including Liz Benson, Kenneth Okonkwo, Shola Sobowale, Desmond Elliot, Moses Inwang, Dickson Iroegbu, Bob-manuel Udokwu, Patience Ozokwor, Elvis Chuks, AY, Iyabo Ojo, Emem Isong and many others.

Governor Rotimi also put two veteran actresses on blast. He told the crowd that he gives Joke Silva and Kate Henshaw bags of money whenever they come to Rivers state. And then claimed he was the one who encouraged Kate Henshaw to go into politics.

Like that wasn't enough, Governor Amaechi then said he went into politics for money.

Some of the Nollywood practitioners are angry about what the governor said and have asked the AGN to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Photo: EFCC arrest Kingpin of fraudsters in Ondo state

Find the EFCC press statement below...
A deadly syndicate of fraudsters who virtually opened an office for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Akure, the Ondo State capital, from where they dispatch fake invitation letters to unsuspecting heads of government agencies purporting to be carrying out investigation activities against them, has been uncovered.
The kingpin of the syndicate, one Olubunmo Olalekan, who is currently in EFCC custody in Abuja, was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Service, DSS, and handed over to the Commission.
At the point of arrest, Olalekan who parades himself as a Principal Detective Superintendent of the EFCC, had in his possession fake letter head papers of the Commission, 30 GSM sim cards, assorted complimentary cards, a laptop computer and printer from where he churns out the fraudulent invitation letters.

His modus operandi is to send out the bulk invitation letters to as many agencies as possible, via courier, claiming to have pending petitions alleging corruption against their heads.

Investigations so far revealed that the suspect has written and distributed over sixty letters purportedly from the Commission to several top officials of ministries, department and agencies. Among them are the chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Ibadan; Managing Director, NPDC Limited, Sapele Road, Benin City; Professor Idowu Odeyemi, Provost Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences, Jos; Managing Director/Chief Executive Office, Jebba Hydro Electric Plc, Jebba, Niger State; Medical Director, National Obstetric Fistula Centre, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State; Dr. Iyela Ajayi, Provost Federal College of Education, Okene, Kogi State and a host of others.

He would leave a GSM number in the letters asking the agency heads to contact a PDS Adeniyi. Those who fall for the scam are asked to pay money for the purported case against them to be dropped.
The syndicate had gone to the extent of issuing clearance letters to those that met their terms.
But some heads of agencies that are sure they had done nothing untoward to warrant investigation by the EFCC have been bold to contact the Commission, which was how Olalekan was nabbed.

Dr. Asunyikanmu Pius, director of Technical Aids Corps, Abuja was one of the agency heads targeted by the scammer. But once he received the invitation letter with instruction to contact a PDS Adeniyi, Dr. Pius alerted the Commission. He was encouraged to play along and consequently paid the sum of N2 million into an Access Bank Account as demanded by the suspect to throw the case. A sting operation was planned, but Olalekan was arrested by men of the DSS before he could draw the money.
Investigation so far revealed that the suspect who operates from his home in Shagari Extension, Akure, Ondo State has obtained millions of naira from victims who were willing to pay his price to escape the ordeal of a phantom investigation. Unknown to them, they had enriched a fraudster.

Olalekan is not the lone player in this scheme of trickery. His two accomplices, a certain Ahaji Yero and one Mr Bako are currently at large even as the EFCC launches a massive manhunt to bring them to justice.

Olalekan’s arrest represents a major breakthrough in the effort of the EFCC to break the ring of fraudsters that specializes in impersonating officials of the agency to dupe unsuspecting members of the public.
The Commission has repeatedly warned members of the public to be wary of invitation letters purportedly emanating from the agency with instructions to contact any supposed official through a GSM line.

No authentic EFCC invitation letter will request anybody to contact an official by telephone. Rather, you are asked to report at an EFCC office to be interviewed by a designated officer.

Members of the public are encouraged to report any suspicious invitation to the Commission’s Department of Internal Affairs by email: DIA@EFCCNIGERIA.ORG or call this number: 09- 9044758 between 8am and 5pm weekdays only.
